Hot towels, no plumbing: oshibori and spa service on a cell
Warm-towel service needs a covered tray at around 60 °C for a few hours. A cell in a lidded buffet set does exactly that, anywhere.
Restaurants, barbers, spas, airlines and hotels hand guests a warm damp towel. Doing it well needs towels held moist and warm for the length of a service, without a plug-in cabinet.
The set-up
Rolled damp towels in a lidded GN tray over an 80 °C cell. The lid keeps the moisture in and the towels warm. Three hours on one charge, at a reception desk or a poolside cabana with no outlet.

Front-of-house welcome, tableside before the meal, treatment rooms, first-class cabins, outdoor spas, and any venue that currently runs a cable to a towel warmer.
