What it is

Presentation buffetware built around the well

Classic is the presentation range: freestanding sets for the buffet table or the terrace, sold as a frame, a serving dish and a lid. The frame carries the 20 × 20 cm element well; the dish sits on the element; the lid closes over the dish. Two formats: the S305 and the T605.

Dishes come in porcelain for front‑of‑house weight and finish, or melamine for outdoor and catering use where breakage and weight matter more. Frames are black or white, and a line can mix the two.

Because the well is shared with the whole system, a Classic set runs hot with an H1X, subzero with a C1 Pro, and flameless‑hot with a T30 Heat Blaster in the insert.

Performance in service

The frame contributes no heat and no cold of its own; performance is the element's. With an H1X, a lidded Classic dish holds at 80°C for three hours and at 110°C for two. With a C1 Pro it stays chilled for eight. With a Heat Blaster it steams within a minute and holds hot for around forty‑five minutes.

The lid matters more than anything else. An open dish on a terrace loses heat to the air and cold to the sun; a closed one holds its figures.

Lifespan, care and warranty

Frames contain no electronics and no wear parts. Porcelain chips at the rim over years of dishwashing and is replaced dish by dish; melamine scratches with metal utensils and is replaced the same way. Buy dishes as spares, not sets. Warranty is one year on factory functions.

What it costs to own

One set of frames serves hot and cold. A venue on chafers and ice buys chafer frames, fuel, ice trays and drain tubs, then buys the fuel and the ice again every week. Classic buys the frame once and rotates elements through it.

Nothing burns, nothing melts. There is no open flame under a porcelain dish in a room full of guests, and no melt water on the floor at the end of the night.
